Trey's Bio
Trey, an Associate at Arete Public Affairs, brings extensive experience in the development and deployment of leading-edge strategies, processes, and campaigns to drive profitable sales performance and market share growth. His expertise encompasses corporate sponsorships, integrated advertising and marketing strategies, new product launches, and shopper and content marketing programs that have outperformed the competition and dominated key business sectors. Trey is a highly analytical, strategic thinker, successful in conceptualizing, developing, and orchestrating branding and marketing initiatives to support national and international sales organizations.
Before joining Arete Public Affairs, Trey worked for a large automotive group, where he played a key role in rebranding the company after it was sold to a new owner. His responsibilities included overseeing the rebranding process and ensuring the new brand identity was effectively communicated to the market.
Prior to this, Trey co-founded Farm2Market PR, specializing in helping small to medium-sized start-up businesses and non-profits develop a brand identity. In this role, he provided strategic guidance to clients, helping them establish a strong market presence.
Previously, Trey served as Director of Promotions at Houston-based Lopez Negrete Communications. In this capacity, he managed promotional campaigns for high-profile clients and contributed to the agency's growth and success. Trey has worked on powerhouse brands in the Dallas, New York, and Houston markets, including Gatorade, Quaker Oats, Bank of America, Wal-Mart, Hellmann’s, Mazola, Pepsi-Cola, Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Nissan USA, Home Depot, and Johnny Walker Black, among others.
Trey earned his Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Texas A&M University. A native of Fort Stockton, Texas, he is actively involved in his community and has a passion for helping businesses achieve their marketing and branding goals.
