Hon. Jacey Jetton, a Strategic Policy Advisor at Arete Public Affairs, brings a wealth of experience in public policy, government relations, and healthcare policy. With a background in both the public and private sectors, Jacey has developed a strong ability to craft effective policy solutions across a wide range of sectors, including public education, border security, infrastructure, workforce development, and healthcare. 

Prior to joining Arete Public Affairs, Jacey served as a Texas State Representative from 2021 to 2025, where he established himself as a leader in public policy. As Chair of the Appropriations Article II Subcommittee, Jacey oversaw critical funding for health and human services programs and played a key role in addressing healthcare policy challenges. He also served on the Redistricting, Public Health, and Local and Consent Calendars Committees, and as Vice Chair of the Texas Commission on Special Education Funding. Jacey authored and helped pass key legislation in support of border security, public education, mental health funding, and infrastructure improvements, all while focusing on advancing healthcare access and equity. 

Jacey's work in the legislature earned him recognition as Freshman Legislator of the Year, and he was integral in securing historic property tax relief for Texans. His deep understanding of healthcare policy and his ability to navigate complex governmental systems make him a valuable asset to Arete Public Affairs. 

Before his time in the legislature, Jacey worked in government and business development, including as Legislative Director and Taxpayer Liaison at the Texas Comptroller's office. In the private sector, Jacey successfully managed multimillion-dollar operations and led efforts to revitalize underperforming businesses, helping foster job creation and economic growth. 

A seventh-generation Texan and son of a South Korean immigrant, Jacey is deeply committed to serving his community. He and his family live in Fort Bend County, where they actively support local service initiatives. Jacey volunteers with organizations focused on helping single mothers, alleviating poverty, and assisting veterans, and he serves in the Texas Army National Guard. His leadership, integrity, and dedication to public service continue to define both his professional and personal life.
